Is there a way to shut off the mouse pad on a Dell mini netbook?

I have a wireless mouse with it and I keep skipping around when I am typing because my hand keeps bumping the mouse pad. I cannot find a way to shut it off and it is driving me crazy!

	Yes, just go to device manager, look for PID or something similar input device, right click it, and click disable. Problem solved.
